Pole dancing mum-of-one Ashley Wright has come under fire after she posted a video of herself pole dancing in front of her two-year-old daughter.
Ashley, who’s a firm advocate of attachment parenting, uploaded the video with the message: ‘What dancing while attachment parenting looks like! How great it is to have both my passions with me into the New Year…Be you! And Be you courageously! NO SHAME IN OUR POLE DANCING GAME!
One Facebook commenter wrote: ‘I can’t support this at all. Dancing is one thing. But sliding down a pole in your panties in front of a baby is how you raise a future stripper not a future Queen.’
But for all the negative comments, Ashley Wright also received a good deal of support. One Facebook fan wrote: ‘This is beautiful. People make it about sexuality, I see passion and love’, while another commented, ‘You’re so awesome! You’re my new inspiration!’
Ashley for one is taking it all in her stride.
Commenting on the uproar on her Instagram page, she wrote: ‘Glad I can be a symbol of strength, courage, divine femininity and progression. Not everyone understands. And that is ok.’
